Study Skills Program
Our Study Skills Program is designed to help students build confidence, stay organized, and develop the academic habits they need to thrive in school and beyond. Over the course of five structured sections, students learn how they learn best, strengthen their planning and organizational systems, and practice real-world strategies they can immediately apply to their classes.
Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum blends direct instruction, guided practice, and practical application. Students will explore:
Section 1: Understanding Your Learning Style — discover how your brain learns and retains information.
Section 2: Organization Strategies — evaluate how you currently organize materials, teacher communication, and your personal space.
Section 3: Learning vs. Memorizing — learn the difference and how to apply both effectively.
Section 4: Active Listening & Self-Reflection — improve classroom engagement and self-awareness.
Section 5: Executive Function Skills — using a planner, taking purposeful notes, studying smarter, and preparing for tests.
