Reading Lab: Mondays 8:30AM - 3PM Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening objectives to support and guide a home-based learning program. This class is designed to support instructional routines at home. Curriculum is based on International Literacy Association standards. We work with your child at their developmental level. Enrichment and support in the foundational skills of learning to read. Older students will work on mastery of comprehension strategies, vocabulary and Greek/Latin root words. Students will have a socialized lunch time. Afternoon subjects include Math, grammar, writing conventions and handwriting lessons.

Math Lab: Tuesdays 8:30AM - 3PM Place Value, Base Ten, Geometry, Measurement, Algebraic Thinking, Incorporated with science and engineering based lessons. Components of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Students will have a socialized lunch time. Afternoon session will include reading, science, and history lessons.

Writing Lab: Wednesdays 8:30AM - 3PM Students will create rough drafts and go through the writing process. From learning to format the perfect sentence, paragraphs and essays to publishing. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, content, evidence for informative writing and more! All aspects of writing are included in this lab. Students will have a socialized lunch time. Afternoon sessions will include math, history and research skills lessons.

Electives Lab: Thursdays 8:30AM- 3PM Application of the skills taught during the week and implemented through art, music, life skills, community service, Spanish, robotics, maker space(sewing, woodworking, electronics) and Culinary Science. This is the BIG deal of learning. Students will have a socialized lunch time. There will be four electives per day

Independent Study Lab: Fridays 8:30AM - 2:30 PM Students enrolled in our fulltime program will use this day to do field research. This will take on the look of field trips, library visits, museum reviews and many other options for learning. We will travel to locations that extend the learning from the classroom. Independent Studies will priortize opportunities for enrichment, entrepreneurship and adventure!

Wraparound Care/Breakfast Club or VIP Program This option is for a working parent who wants to provide a home school experience. This option includes homework support and learning beyond the traditional day! Ask for current pricing.

We are a direct pay provider for Step Up for Students. We accept the Personalized Education Plan (PEP) and Unique Abilities (UA) scholarships.

Parent Support

Choice Navigator: Let us help you plan your child's learning experience with an experienced and certified teacher.

An initial fee of $500 is collected for the initial intake, review of current curriculum (if any), assessments, and goal setting for the year. Then, each month moving forward, $285, which includes the plans and a weekly conference (in person or digitally) with the instructor.


Assessments for students in public, private or home school

Red Hawk Academy students are provided these within their tuition three times/year
